Woman Fatally Struck By Tractor-Trailer In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A woman in her 40s was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer truck early Wednesday morning in Brooklyn.

The crash happened shortly before 5 a.m. at the intersection of Nostrand and Flatbush avenues in East Flatbush.

Authorities said they’re searching for the truck that fled the scene.

It’s unclear whether the driver realized the woman had been hit.
