NYPD Probing Apparent Murder-Suicide On UWS

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide on the Upper West Side.

A 72-year old man and a 50-year-old woman were found in the basement of an apartment building on West 87th Street near West End Avenue, the NYPD said.

A son reportedly found their bodies.

Investigators said it appears both were shot and a gun was recovered at the scene.
