Commuter Alert: Pedestrian Struck And Killed Along Long Island Expressway
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A pedestrian was struck and killed along the Long Island Expressway early Monday morning.
Drivers should expect heavy delays in the area.
Police said the man was walking on the shoulder of the westbound lanes when he was hit around 5:30 a.m.
All lanes were closed at Queens Boulevard, and traffic was being directed to the outer roadway.
