Steve Barnes, High Profile Lawyer, Reportedly Killed In Upstate New York Plane Crash

BUFFALO, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – High-profile attorney Steve Barnes reportedly died in a place crash in Genesee County on Friday.

It happened between Rochester and Buffalo, where the law firm Cellino & Barnes was founded.

A recent split between the two law partners made national headlines.

As source told CBS2’s affiliate WIVB in Buffalo that Barnes owned and piloted the aircraft, and that he was at the helm when the small aircraft crashed Friday.

A woman on board also died.
