NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Crews worked Wednesday night to plug a major water main break in the East Village.
Water could be seen gushing out on East Seventh Street and First Avenue, flooding streets, sidewalks and outdoor dining structures.
Business owners said they were seeing up to two inches of water.
