Metro-North Worker Will Pepe Fired After Allegedly Taking Part In U.S. Capitol Riot

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A Metro-North worker accused of taking part in the Jan. 6 rioting at the U.S. Capitol has been fired.

Pepe allegedly called in sick on the day of the riots. Meanwhile, a picture posted on social media shows him inside the Capitol.

Metro-North says he was terminated for conduct unbecoming an employee and time sheet fraud.
