NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — CBS2 has obtained new video that sheds light on the death of a woman near a construction site in Brooklyn.
Estelle Davis, 61, is seen walking across New Lots Avenue in East New York on Friday. A backhoe backs into her and hits her in the head with the shovel.
Neither the driver nor a nearby worker appear to notice. The backhoe then runs her over.
Police initially thought Davis may have been hit by a car.
No charges have been filed.
