Prayer Bench Used By FDNY Chaplain Mychal Judge Donated To 9/11 Memorial & Museum

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A prayer bench used by beloved FDNY chaplain Father Mychal Judge will be part of the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

Judge was killed when the World Trade Center towers collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001.

The prayer bench belonged to Judge’s twin sister. Five years ago, she gave it to a monastery in Rising Sun, Maryland.

The bench arrived at the museum’s warehouse on April 4.
