NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Dozens of people rallied outside City Hall late Wednesday, protesting upcoming COVID vaccine mandates.
They were demonstrating against the vaccine requirement for city workers.
CBS2 has been told among the protesters were members of unions for firefighters, teachers, police and health care workers.
Earlier this week, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced all city school staff will have to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 by Sept. 27.
