New York City Passes San Francisco As Most Expensive U.S. City To Rent An Apartment

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)New York City has passed San Francisco as the most expensive city in the United States to rent an apartment.

According to the housing website Zumper, the median rent for a one-bedroom in New York City is $2,810.

That edges out San Francisco by $10, where the median rent is $2,800.

Zumper says it’s the first time New York City has topped the list since 2014.
